How can one experience a space that is both cosmic and personal?
Galaktik Dasein is an interdisciplinary performance project focusing on the state of becoming, where electronic sound and vibrant abstract art coexist simultaneously. The Galaktik sound universe of the project is created by Serkan Tosun, while the visual layers carrying the idea of Dasein, or "being-there," are created by Ayşen Gürdal. In Galaktik Dasein, the process itself becomes visible, rather than the finished works; everything is born in the moment.
The performance space is more than a stage; it is a living space where sound, color, memory, and body touch each other in real time.
The project bears the traces of a personal inner journey born from a search for belonging. Galaktik Dasein establishes a space for both an inner quest and a collective existence.
Each performance is a process where sound, color, and body are born unprepared and unwritten. Electronic music expands the time of the space, while the canvas becomes a witness where memory surfaces. What emerges is not perfection, but sincerity and openness.
In Galaktik Dasein, the audience is not a passive observer. Their presence in the space participates in the fabric of the performance, feeling their own inner movement with every layer change on the canvas. The boundaries between performer, sound, and viewer soften; a shared experience emerges. The viewer simultaneously becomes a point within the universe and is fixed in their present moment.
